Jordan Stevenson files nomination for Mayor of Port Hope

Jordan Stevenson filed his nomination papers on July 9, 2026, beginning his campaign for Mayor of Port Hope.

When the campaign launched on July 9, 2026, its slogan was Straight Talk. Stronger Port Hope. On August 4, 2026, the campaign adopted A Town to Build a Life In. as its main slogan. The original launch wording is retained here as part of the public record.

The campaign focus is direct: reliable services and infrastructure, housing that fits Port Hope, safer and better-maintained public spaces, responsible growth and Wesleyville planning, and fair decisions for both urban Ward 1 and rural Ward 2.

Jordan is asking residents to read the plan, ask hard questions, take part in the campaign's informal opinion polls, get campaign updates, or volunteer. Filing a nomination begins the campaign; the Clerk publishes the final certified candidate list later in the election process.
