Campaign contact and signup forms
Optional campaign contact, signup, volunteer, newsletter, and lawn sign interest tools may collect name, email address, optional phone number, postal code or neighbourhood, volunteer interest, and message content. The campaign should collect only what is needed to respond, organize volunteers, or understand local concerns.
Please do not send highly sensitive personal information through campaign contact tools. The campaign will only collect what is needed to respond and organize campaign activity.
Opinion polls
The campaign may offer informal opinion polls to understand local priorities. These polls are not scientific surveys, verified resident votes, official municipal consultation, or election votes.
Poll responses are kept separate from campaign contact, newsletter, volunteer, and lawn sign records. The campaign does not ask for names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses, or claimed residency to answer an opinion poll.
Donations and campaign-finance records
If online or offline campaign contributions are enabled, the campaign may collect donor name, email address, phone number, full mailing address, contribution amount, eligibility attestations, payment method, receipt or reference number, refund status, administrative notes, and Stripe reconciliation IDs.
Stripe processes card payments for online contributions. The campaign website does not store card numbers, card security codes, or full payment-card details.
Campaign-finance records may be retained for election reporting, audit, compliance, dispute resolution, and correction purposes. Some donor and contribution information may become part of campaign-finance filings or public election records where required by municipal election law.
Technical information and service providers
Hosting, security, analytics, form, email, database, and payment providers may process routine technical information needed to operate the site, such as logs, browser details, device information, approximate location, IP address, cookies, and security signals.
The site currently includes Vercel Analytics. Do not add new analytics, tracking, advertising, or newsletter tools without updating this notice. Stripe is used only if donation payments are enabled.
Cookies and duplicate-prevention
To reduce repeat responses and abuse, the poll system may use a browser cookie, one-way hashes, and short-lived abuse-control checks. These controls are used to protect the integrity of informal polls and are not intended to identify respondents by name.
To reduce repeat responses, the poll system may use a browser cookie and privacy-preserving duplicate checks. These controls are not perfect, and the results should be read as informal campaign feedback.
Separation of poll responses from signup/contact records
Poll responses are kept separate from campaign contact, newsletter, volunteer, and lawn sign records. Answering an opinion poll does not sign a respondent up for campaign updates, volunteer contact, lawn sign follow-up, or other campaign contact.
Retention
Aggregate poll results may be kept after a poll closes. Raw duplicate-prevention identifiers should be deleted, rotated, or retained only according to the configured retention window. The current retention cleanup process is designed to snapshot aggregate results before deleting raw poll identifiers.
Donation and campaign-finance records may need to be kept longer than ordinary website contact records because they support contribution limits, reconciliation, reporting, refund handling, and election finance compliance.
Private resident stories
The campaign does not knowingly publish private resident stories or sensitive personal details without consent. Residents should avoid sending private health, legal, family, employment, or other sensitive details unless they are necessary for the campaign to understand the concern.
Privacy contact
Contact the campaign about privacy questions, correction requests, or concerns about information shared through this website, including correction requests for campaign contact or contribution records.
